IPS Panel for a Clear View from All Angles
The IPS (in-plane switching) panel has 178° viewing angles so it exhibits minimal change in contrast and hue when viewed from off center. This makes it ideal for trading rooms or other multi-monitor environments. The panel produces clear, stable images and does not exhibit a glare known as a "rainbow effect" which contributes to eye fatigue.

Mercury-Free LED Backlight
Unlike a conventional CCFL backlight, the white LED backlight contains no mercury. It also requires less power, consuming just 16 watts during normal operation.
As Low as 1% of Maximum Brightness
Another benefit of the LED backlight is that it can lower brightness to just 1% (about 3 cd/m2) of the maximum whereas with a CCFL backlight this figure is about 20%. For a dimly-lit work environment this ensures the brightness can be lowered to a level that will not cause eye fatigue.

Three Inputs Including DisplayPort
DVI-D, DisplayPort, and D-Sub inputs are included for full connectivity with legacy and next-generation digital and analog interfaces.
Placement Flexibility
These monitors come with the highly versatile FlexStand 2 which offers 165 mm of height adjustment, 25° tilt, 344° swivel, and 90° rotation for portrait mode viewing.
Paper Mode and EyeCare Filter Reduce Eye Fatigue
A preset mode called Paper mode simulates the look of printed paper and helps prevent eyestrain when reading documents. What’s more, a new feature called EyeCare Filter, available with the bundled ScreenManager Pro software, comes with several filter patters that resemble different types of paper. You can adjust the density of the filter patterns for maximum viewing comfort.

Smooth Playback of Moving Images
An overdrive circuit on the FlexScan EV2335W reduces gray-to-gray response time of just 6 ms to ensure that moving images look clean and sharp.
Detailed Color Control
The OSD menu offers a wide array of color adjustment function including brightness, contrast, gamma, saturation, hue, gain, and color temperature from 4,000 K to 10,000 K in 500 K increments.

Ideal Brightness with Auto EcoView and EcoView Optimizer
Two original EIZO features are included to obtain the optimal screen brightness. Auto EcoView measures the ambient brightness and automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness accordingly. A new function EIZO is introducing for the first time called EcoView Optimizer tempers changes in the white level (brightness) of the displayed contents by further adjusting the screen’s brightness accordingly. Together, these two features trim power usage while reducing eye fatigue that would otherwise result from a screen that is too bright or too dark.

Zero Watts When Turned Off
When the monitor’s power save mode and off timer function are set, it consumes less than 0.1 watts of power, and when turned off via the main power switch, it consumes no electricity at all.
Energy Efficiency Gauge
A user-activated EcoView Index displays the level of power savings and equivalent amount of C02 reduction compared to using the monitor without Auto EcoView activated and with the screen set at a brightness of 100%.

Recycled Plastic
The front and rear cabinets as well as the front buttons are partially made of recycled plastic.
Built-In Speaker
One 0.5-watt internal speaker and a headphone jack are included.
Improved Work Efficiency, Reduced Visual Fatigue
EIZO conducted a survey (see white paper) to establish the relationship between eye fatigue and monitor use. The results showed that features like Auto EcoView, ergonomic stands, and the EyeCare utility helped reduce eye fatigue and improved work efficiency by 12.5%.
EyeCare Utility
EIZO’s new EyeCare utility prompts workers to take scheduled breaks, thereby promoting healthier work habits and preventing eye fatigue caused by prolonged monitor use.
Commitment to Quality
While outsourcing production is now common practice in the monitor industry, EIZO continues to manufacture its products the same way it has throughout its 40 year history — with its own staff at its own factories. This allows EIZO to keep close control over production quality and offer the industry’s only 5-year manufacturer’s limited warranty.
Customer Assurance
Complies with the most stringent international labels for ergonomics and energy savings like TCO Displays 5.1, EPA Energy Star, and EPEAT Gold.
